Earlier, Indian team’s acting coach VVS Laxman told the mantra of success in T20 cricket. India head coach Rahul Dravid and his support staff have been rested after the T20 World Cup. NCA head VVS Laxman has been appointed India’s coach in this series. Also his NCA teammates will help him as batting and bowling coach.

Hardik Pandya is the captain of the team and Rishabh Pant is the vice-captain, due to which both of them are sure to play. Apart from this, Suryakumar Yadav, the leader of the team, will also be seen playing. Shreyas Iyer will be included in place of Virat Kohli. At the same time, it is also decided to play star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who was on the bench in the World Cup. Washington Sundar is there to replace Akshar Patel, while Arshdeep Singh’s place in the fast bowling is also confirmed. Umran Malik and Mohammad Siraj may get a chance for other options of fast bowling.
